Hello, Ballard community!  I look forward to continue serving in the Niles school district this year and beyond. Prior to my time in Niles, I resided in Champaign, Illinois where I began teaching in 2010. I was a Special Education Teacher at Centennial High School for 4 years before becoming the Assistant Principal at Edison Middle School. I was Assistant Principal and then Associate Principal at Edison for almost 4 years before relocating to Michigan and joining the Niles schools team.

I currently reside in the Southwest Michigan area with my wife, Sarah, my daughter, Minnie, and goldendoodle, Popcorn.

Although I am an administrator and no longer have a classroom, I still have a strong passion for interacting daily with students and helping them grow. It is my goal to work with teachers, students, families, and the community to provide the safest and most rigorous learning environment possible at Ballard Elementary.  I encourage parents to contact me with any celebrations, concerns, or questions. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and discussing how we might work together to meet the needs of students at Ballard. Please feel free to reach me at Ballard by calling 269-683-5900 or via e-mail at
